San's first ever canvas painting. This abstract painting was created intuitively, without a predetermined subject, allowing movement, texture, and emotion to guide each layer. Bold strokes of deep blue intersect with soft whites and grays, while splatters and linear marks create a sense of motion and depth.
Within the abstraction, an underwater world begins to emerge—suggestions of a whale gliding through open water, fragments of coral, and the quiet energy of the ocean floor. The composition balances chaos and calm, evoking both the vastness and mystery of life beneath the surface.
While inspired by personal imagery, the work is intentionally open-ended, inviting the viewer to discover their own forms, memories, and meanings within the layers.
